Our newest space offers a range of pottery classes, studio membership and a welcoming community for both beginners and experienced makers.

Whether you’re looking to try pottery for the first time, continue developing your skills or establish your own ceramic practice, our Islington studio provides a welcoming and supportive environment in which to make.

Classes

People of all abilities are welcome to join our classes! We run daytime and evening courses most days, offering flexible availability. If you can’t find a suitable option, email info@thekilnrooms.com with your preferred day/time. We will also host drop-in access for people enrolled on our courses.

Membership

Becoming a member of The Kiln Rooms saves money, provides flexibility and welcomes people to join a community of makers. Working within this studio model fuels the development of ideas and a broadening of social / professional networks which wouldn’t be possible working in isolation.

  • Onsite technical support & advice
  • Top of the range tools & equipment provided
  • Firings included in membership and managed by our technicians (1,000c and 1,260c)
  • Up to 18 hours per week access
  • Each member has a shelved, personal storage space and access to communal storage areas.
  • This particular membership model is not suitable for large scale production potters or people making very large work – for this we would advise joining our Copeland Park studio.

Access times: We will provide access 7 days a week, allowing members flexible making time, more info here.

£240: membership per month, rolling contract. Minimum of 2 months.

Paying in advance:

£1,350: 6 month membership (equivalent of £225 p/m).

£2,580: 1 year membership (equivalent of £215 p/m).
