who we are
We have four open-access ceramics studios in London, providing a space for everyone to learn and create. We offer pottery classes for all levels, from one-off workshops to in-depth 12-week courses, and studios memberships, which provide makers with the space, time and independence to develop their ceramics practice.
Founded in 2O15 as a humble studio in Peckham, we’ve now grown into a thriving community thanks to the incredible passion and support of our makers and staff.
We’re proud to support a thriving network of ceramic enthusiasts, from total beginners to seasoned makers!

Our vibrant community is at the heart of everything we do. The Kiln Rooms is a space where people come together to share ideas, refine their craft, and support one another – the people really do make the place!
Supporting this community, and making ceramics more inclusive and accessible, is our priority. We’re dedicated to expanding learning opportunities and nurturing early-career ceramicists through our Development Programme. This initiative includes regular artist talks featuring diverse artists and makers, bi-annual member sales to showcase and celebrate work, a work exchange programme and more. Find out more about our Development Programme and the opportunities it offers here.

Our facilities: We pride ourselves on the quality of our equipment and we’re the only pottery in London who employ a qualified electrician, always working hard to ensure that everything is running smoothly. We’re very proud of our kilns (we aren’t called The Kiln Rooms for nothing!), our certified team who look after them, and all of the amazing work that comes out of them.
Accessibility: Ceramics can be a costly pursuit, which is why we work hard to keep our pricing as affordable and accessible as possible. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their creativity, and we are committed to making that a reality, without compromising on the quality of what we offer.
Sustainability: Our electricity is all renewable and we have developed a sustainable clay reclaim system. By nature, pottery discourages people using single use cups and tableware; to think about what they make and use. We carry this mindfulness into our daily technical and creative practices.
WHERE TO Find us
We have three studios in Peckham and one in Farringdon.
Peckham is where it all began! It’s a lively, artistic area full of energy and amazing independent places to eat and drink.
Farringdon is a fantastic location which offers a dynamic contrast to our Peckham roots.
We chose these spaces because they both embody the spirit of innovation and community that we strive to foster in our studio.
